Individual Needs Analysis
The assessment system used for the exam can be used in support of individuals or training managers who are looking to ensure training budgets are spent on appropriate study programmes. In the case of individuals seeking to prepare a course of study, candidates are advised to take the exam on-line and to request a strengths and weaknesses assessment from the exam provider. The strengths and weaknesses are mapped against the curriculum topics for ASD or the S60 exams and the results take the form shown here.

Group Training Needs Analysis
For groups (such as a project team or developer population within a company) the following analyses are available:

a mapping of aggregate strengths and weaknesses against the curriculum;

a comparison of the strengths and weaknesses of the sample population against the universe of previous exam candidates;

a list of courses and course providers that can be used to address any identified weaknesses.
Skills assessment results can be mapped to training courses to provide a comprehensive overview of a population’s skills profile and training needs.
