Exam Description
The test establishes whether the candidate has sufficient knowledge of S60 to contribute quickly to a project; it assume prior knowledge of Symbian OS. The required scope of knowledge and the competency level for accreditation are defined by Nokia. This is largely covered by the Nokia training courses:
04300: Symbian OS Basics,
05300: S60 C++ Basics,
06300: S60 3rd Edition Update,
07100: SIP API and
07200: Scalable UI
Candidates who score above the pass mark may be formally recognised by Nokia as Accredited S60 Developers.
This exam should take under an hour, although that will vary based upon the number of questions presented, the difficulty of those questions and how quickly the candidate responds to them. Results of the test are available on screen at the end of the test if the candidate, and are supplied by email on completion. Successful candidates also receive a certificate by mail direct from Forum Nokia and their details are entered into a register of Accredited S60 Developers.
