ASD Approved Trainer Code of Practice

ASD Approved Trainers commit to and state the following on their websites:

  1. We provide a Symbian OS learning program that uses objective and fair content leading to independently measurable competency.

  2. We develop, publish, and follow a clear road map for linking course material to the published Symbian OS common learning objectives.

  3. We offer Symbian OS related courses based on accepted good practice. Course procedures and content are current, valid and reliable.

  4. We encourage hands-on experience as part of our training.

  5. We provide objective and standardized methods to evaluate competency.

  6. We employ instructors who know the subject matter and have a demonstrated ability to teach.

  7. We contribute to the development of the Symbian OS ASD curriculum to keep it current with industry practice.

Curriculum Details

The ASD curriculum is defined by Symbian and includes the spectrum of knowledge required to use Symbian to its full potential. The exam objectives are fully covered by the Primer text.
