Accredited S60 Developer Exam
Nokia's Accredited S60 Developer scheme was launched at 3GSM on 12th February 2007. The scheme is designed to set and objectively measure the standard of engineering competency required for developers and engineers to differentiate themselves as skilled S60 developers and builds on the existing Accredited Symbian Developer scheme.
The scheme defines the set of knowledge required to understand and use S60 - the S60 curriculum. It provides a framework for continuing professional development keeping pace with the evolution of S60 and is integrated into training programmes through Nokia's Authorised Training Providers. The scheme provides tools to objectively test competency & understanding within the curriculum and therefore both to identify learning opportunities and to differentiate competent developers through objective examination.
The S60 exam establishes whether the candidate has sufficient knowledge of S60 to contribute quickly to a project; it assumes prior knowledge of Symbian OS. The required scope of knowledge and the competency level for accreditation are defined by Nokia. The curriculum for the exam is described here. This is largely covered by the Nokia training courses:

Candidates who score above the pass mark and who are already Accredited Symbian Developers may be formally recognised by Nokia as Accredited S60 Developers.
This exam should take under an hour, although that will vary based upon the number of questions presented, the difficulty of those questions and how quickly the candidate responds to them. Results of the test are either available on screen at the end of the test if the candidate chooses, or are supplied by email within 48 hours. Successful candidates also receive a .pdf certificate by email and their details are entered into a register of successful candidates.
